Donauwörth - a small, clean but not too amazing city. yet this fountain is cute :)  

Nördlingen - Bayerisches Eisenbahnmusem - a chance to see more than 100 original locomotives out of which 25 are steam propeled...  

Nördlingen also has a planetary way with 11 stops...

Nördlingen - one of the 11 towers that are part of the city´s rampart. one can walk around a part of it in these passageways...

Nördlingen - a part of the city as seen from the tower. it took 350 stairs to get up there ;).  

Nördlingen - a beautiful city one could describe as a historical tin can... this is the 90 meter high tower of the St. George church that is completely built of suevit. 

we desperately tried to find a fossilized fish but in the end the only one we found was in the crater museum ;) 

Steinheim - one of the best preserved impact craters in Europe, 3,8 km in diameter, approx. 15 million years old
